Throughout the year our dedicated Phone-a-thon student callers reach out to approximately 10,000 alumni, parents and friends of Newberry College to provide campus updates, answer questions, share their student experiences, confirm contact information and request financial support for the Newberry College Annual Fund. 

Not only does the program raise funds for the College, it also provides direct and immediate benefits to student callers by:

• Offering employment to Newberry College students each semester
• Providing opportunities for students to enhance their resumes
• Helping students sharpen communication, fundraising and professional skills that will be valuable to them in the workplace after graduation
• Allowing students to hear from alumni first-hand about their experiences as students at Newberry College
• Providing beneficial career development advice from alumni and friends of the College
