9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The GROW Symposium is a free professional development day for all Newberry College alumni in the teaching field. The symposium will take place in various campus locations, and participants will be able to attend workshops and poster sessions. Recertification certificates will be issued for this event. Register at www.retainteachers.org.
5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
The Hall of Masters Teachers Convocation is an invitation only event that will take place at the Dufford Alumni House. New members will be inducted into the Hall of Master Teachers, which was established in 2012 to recognize Newberry College graduates for their excellence in the field of education.
6:00 p.m.
The Class of 1963 will celebrate their 50th reunion. A social, followed by dinner, will take place on the Quad, outside of Holland Hall. Information will be mailed to all class members concerning formal plans.
7:00 p.m.
A Jazz Combo Performance will take place on the Quad, near the Bell Tower.
8:00 p.m.
The Alumni Associations Homecoming Dance in Kaufmann Hall. The cost is $10 per person and Endless Summer will be performing.
8:00 p.m.
Join us for Movie Night in the Wiles Chapel Theatre. This ACE sponsored event is free for students and open to the public for $3 per person.
Saturday, October 12
8:00 a.m.
5th Annual Homecoming 5K Run/Walk will begin near the main entrance gates to the College. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories. Timing will be provided by Strictly Running. Pre-registration is $25 or $30 day of the race. All students may register for $15.Students who are 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent during the race. Register online at www.strictlyrunning.com or send registration and check to the Newberry College Alumni Office. Newberry College Students should provide the registration form with payment in person to the Alumni Office on the 2nd floor of Holland Hall. Register by Oct.1 to receive the appropriate size shirt! Class of 1953 60th reunion on the quad outside of Holland Hall.

The Newberry College Softball 100 Inning Game will take place at the Smith Road Complex.

Alumni Doubles Tennis Round Robin at Cannon Tennis Courts. No need to bring a doubles partner! Round Robin will include play with current Wolves tennis teams. $15 or more per person donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation is appreciated. Alumni Association Annual Meeting in Wiles Chapel will provide updates from the Alumni Association leaders. Meet College administration, as well as alumni scholarship and award recipients. There will be door prizes and special gifts given. Members of the classes of 1963, 1988, and 2003 will receive special recognition. A photograph of those attending the meeting will be taken immediately following the program. Reunion class photos will be taken upon request.

College Family Luncheon will take place inside Kaufmann Hall and will be served buffet style.

Newberry College Singers and Madrigal Concert in Wiles Chapel will include repertoire from their fall tour. The College choirs plan toperform regularly as part of Homecoming festivities. The concert will be directed by Dr. Chris Sheppard and Mrs. Allyss Haecker.
12:00 p.m.-1:30p.m.
The African American Alumni Association will conduct a luncheon meeting in the Dufford Alumni House. Join us for fellowship and to hear about the exciting plans for the future of Newberry College.

Academic Affairs tents by the fountain. Representatives from the eight academic departments will be available for questions.
1:30 p.m.
Homecoming Parade begins at Lindsay Furniture and comes up College St. to the main entrance of the College and circles the fountain. Judges will chose the 1st, 2nd and 3rd best floats. To participate, email sga@newberry.edu. Line up begins at 12:30 p.m.
2:00 p.m.
A reunion for the brothers of ATO Fraternity will be held in the Athletic Club Parking Lot. Food will be provided.

Designated gathering areas for class years ending in 3 and 8, including but not limited to 1988 and 2003, will be available around thefountain.

Newberry College Family Photo will be on the steps of Yost Portico. Signs with class years will be available.

A 100 years of Football Gathering will take place under the tents between the OL Casey Center and Setzler Field. Pick up your t-shirt and enter the game after the 2013 team takes the field.

Football Game: Newberry vs. Tusculum. Tickets may be ordered in advance from the Athletic Dept. or with your HomecomingRegistration.
Post-Game
Fantastic Festival of Fireworks will take place on-campus. All alumni, community members, faculty, staff, students and guests are invited to watch this fabulous display!

Homecoming Worship and Memorial Service
Join together in worship at Wiles Chapel with the Newberry College Class of 1963 to celebrate with them their 50th anniversary of graduation. Everyone is invited. Flowers may be bought in the memory or honor of loved ones and picked up after the service.
