The Newberry College 3 + 2 Program is an outstanding cooperation with Duke University that leads to a master’s degree in Forestry and Environmental Management. We lay the strong foundation at Newberry that students build upon at Duke, allowing students to experience the best of both worlds academically. When all requirements are met for both institutions, students earn a bachelor of science degree in Biology from Newberry College and a Master of Forestry or Master of Environmental Management from Duke University. Student completes: · Remaining classes for Newberry Biology degree · 48 semester hours of graduate level studies |

Student must earn a minimum grade of 2.7/4.0 and receive a B-minus or better in order for these classes to count toward the master’s degree prerequisite. Formal application for admission also must be made to the Duke University School of the Environment.
