Dr. Jones received his B.A. in Mathematics from Newberry College, his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Miami, and his DBA in Business Administration from Nova University. His Masters Thesis was on Real Time Audio and his Doctorate Dissertation was on The Requirements and Implementation of Entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining the faculty at Newberry College in 2013, Dr. Jones worked for one of the largest computer centers in the United States: Eastern Airlines, System One. He then ran his own business, The Computer Science Institute, where the company specialized in hardware, software and computer education. He has published computer science articles in trade journals and has written and published two books.
Since selling his business, Dr. Jones has been teaching both graduate and undergraduate computer science and business administration courses in South Florida for the last twenty-three years. His schools include Broward College, University of Miami, Barry University, Palm Beach State and Florida International University.
