Bio:

Gretchen Haskett is a South Carolina native and has worked in community recreation for 10 years. She has also served in multiple capacities at Newberry College under both Student Affairs and Academic Affairs. She was recognized as Advisor of the Year (2007-2008) and recipient of a Golden Machete Award (2011-2012) for program assessment. Prior to her appointment as Associate Dean for Student Success and Persistence in March 2017, she served as chair for the Department of Sport Professions.
