Bio:

Laurie Harden has enjoyed a varied career in nursing including positions in critical care, community/health department, and nursing education settings. She has been continuously employed in nursing education since 1989, directing both Associate Degree and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs through national programmatic accreditation and re-accreditation. At Newberry College, she is assigned to coursework at both the junior and senior levels: Health Assessment in Nursing Practice; Pharmacological and Nutritional Bases of Nursing Practice; Nursing Practice with Diverse Populations and Settings; and Leadership, Management and Change in Nursing Practice.

 

On a personal level, Harden enjoys living lakeside where she can entertain friends and family, boat and watch awesome sunsets. She volunteers with the SC Department of Public Safety, Families of Highway Fatalities.
